There were 84 of us in 1957. Some things have changed since then. Some of the classmates have passed on. Most of us were born in 1939, so we got old. We are now mostly retired grandparents. We live interesting lives and this is where we can share those lives with our classmates. Some of us have known each other since kindergarten. Team Wisconsin Tops Prairie Dogs in Bolo
Once again, the Prairie Dogs kept a stiff upper lip as they posed with the Cheeseheads in the annual Bolo Golf Tourney at Smith Lake near Nelson, MN. The Dogs cheerfully waved to the departing 'heads while admiring the Good Sportsmanship Award they received at the closing ceremony of the games. The 'heads smiled all the broader as they went down the road admiring the Traveling World Championship Trophy in their possession. Former AD and 'voice of the Brooten Belgrade Jaguars' confided that he was satisfied with outcome of the annual tradition in spite of their runner up position. "We caught plenty of fish, had a huge fishfry and plenty of fun, food and fellowship, so the outcome of the tourney is really secondary." Regular participants in the fish-a-thon the day before included Hiede and Sam Zosel of St. Cloud.
