April Newsletter

Happy May Day to all.  May your sweetheart place a May Basket on your doorstep.
April was a light news month.  Thanks to those who contributed.

From Dee Simons Schwartz
The all school reunion committee has asked us if we would open the roller rink for a few hours.  After reading Cis's comment on riding in the parade, I don't think
anyone wants to roller skate.  We are having an old timers night April 10th.  There are a few brave souls out there.  Cis is welcome. Ha! Any other class mates as
well.
Ed. Note: Thanks are due to you and Don, Dee for opening the rink for the reunion. Cis, the challenge is on, dig out your roller derby duds.

From the England Prairie Correspondent:  Zosel's and Huffman's met at the Pizza Ranch in St. Cloud for lunch on the Wadena Alumni Men Gathering Day.  Lunch was good and news items were exchanged.  About it from the Prairie.  Prairie Dog

Class of ’57 men  in attendence at St. Cloud on April 8:  Tom S., Wayne H., Ike H., David O., Don B., Chas Lindberg, Scott Anderson and yours truly.  A good time was had by all.  We missed several of the regulars this year and hope you will return next year along with any of you guys out there that can make it.

April has been an uncommonly mild (and dry) month.  The Juneberry trees have bloomed a couple of weeks ahead of schedule.  They are abundant in these parts and if we should have ample rain we will have a good crop of berries.  See photos.
